Our prompt and very successful framing service makes use of a simple-to-use frame selection system which can be found on all our individual print shopping pages. We offer you a choice of frame mouldings in both traditional and contemporary styles. Once you have ordered your print it will be dry mounted and, if you have chosen the mount option, placed behind a single 'V' groove bevelled mount before being inserted into the frame manufactured from the moulding of your choice fitted with standard picture glass.

Finally, your framed print will then be pinned, sealed, fitted with hangers and chord and placed in a special protective presentation box with carrying handle. The whole product will be packaged and sent to you directly from the manufacturer by carrier using a tracked and insured service.

Stunning images merit only the highest standards of presentation, so all this work will be carried out for you, on our behalf, by Border Frames of Lochmaben, one of the most respected picture frame manufacturers in the UK. Border Frames use only the finest quality materials and their products are assembled to the highest standards by 'Fine Art Trade Guild' craftsmen. All framed prints will be supplied ready to hang and can be shipped to any destination in the UK.

Not all the mouldings listed are available for all frame sizes; specific availability is shown on the product pages.

We reserve the right to change the specification of our mouldings from time to time and from batch to batch. Although the mouldings will change, we shall ensure continuity in the general appearance of our product range. We do guarantee that any customer who orders several frames in a single order will be supplied with frames made from the same batch of moulding. However, we cannot guarantee that any customer who places a return order for frames some time later will receive mouldings from the same batch.

Single 'V' Groove Bevelled Mounts

Tastefully embellished bevelled mounts are a modern way to enhance photography and protect the surface of the printed image. We strongly recommend that you choose the option to have your print fitted into a Single 'V' Groove Bevelled Mount.

This procedure has three benefits; it determines and maintains the print's precise position within the frame, it allows the print to 'breathe' when subjected to variations in temperature and humidity, and finally it esnures that the printed surface does not come into contact with the glazing. A print framed without a bevelled mount is likely to 'buckle' over time or when it is subjected to changes of temperature and humidity.
