Our prompt and very successful framing service makes use of our unique and simple-to-use frame selection system which can be found on all our individual print shopping pages. We offer you a choice of frame mouldings in both traditional and contemporary styles. We recommend that a print be inserted into a bevelled mount before being framed. Stunning images merit the highest standards of presentation, so we shall continue to source our frames from highly respected manufacturers using 'Fine Art Trade Guild' craftsmen. All framed prints will be supplied ready to hang and can be shipped to any destination in the UK.
We offer a wide range of high quality frame mouldings selected to suit all styles, residential and commercial, traditional and modern. You can see detailed information about these mouldings, including sample swatches, profiles and dimensions on the ABOUT THE FRAME MOULDINGS page.
Not all our mouldings shown here will be available all of the time. Availability will be shown on the product pages.
We reserve the right to change the specification of our mouldings from time to time and from batch to batch. Although the mouldings will change, we shall ensure continuity in the general appearance of our product range. We do guarantee that any customer who orders several frames in a single order will be supplied with frames made from the same batch of moulding. However, we cannot guarantee that any customer who places a return order for frames some time later will receive mouldings from the same batch.
Tastefully embellished bevelled mounts are a modern way to enhance photography and protect the surface of the printed image.
We STRONGLY recommend that before being framed, a print should be inserted into a bevelled mount. This procedure has three benefits; it determines and maintains the print's precise position within the frame, it allows the print to 'breathe' when subjected to variations in temperature and humidity, and finally it esnures that the printed surface does not come into contact with the glazing. A print framed without a bevelled mount is likely to 'buckle' over time or when it is subjected to changes of temperature and humidity. Although we offer framing solutions which exclude the use of a mount we advise all our customers to consider the possible degredation of the print in the longer term and the mount options that we provide to avoid this potential problem.
