Description of Goods
All goods offered for sale on this website are of satisfactory quality and meet any description of them. Whilst every effort as been made to accurately reproduce the colours and dimensions of the prints, variation in both user settings and monitors may cause fluctuation under some circumstances for which Mountain Images cannot be held responsible. Mountain Images reserve the right to alter without notice or prior warning, products, prices and conditions of sale.
Stocking, Availability and Delivery
All items offered for sale by Mountain Images are manufactured upon demand. Discontinued products are removed from the site immediately and not offered for sale. For this reason, we are normally able to prepare and despatch a print within 2 working days of receipt of the order. However, we do sometimes experience unexpected delays with our suppliers, and in such exceptional circumstances, should there be any exception to our normal timetable we will contact you immediately.
Shipping Costs
Wherever shipping is charged, we endeavour to keep shipping costs to a minimum, and the charges we make are directly related to the value and weight of your order and its destination. The amount you are to be charged for shipping will be clearly shown at the checkout stage BEFORE you are requested for payment.
Invoice and Delivery
With some exceptions we normally start work on your order immediately upon receipt. A commercial invoice will be included with the order. We will send you an e-mail to advise you that we are about to despatch your order, and again when it has been despatched your order.
We cannot give any guarantees on delivery, but if you have not received your order within 2 working days of the shipping e-mail (7 days if outside the UK), please contact us immediately.
All shipments are of either a weight or bulk that require someone to be present at the delivery address. Please, therefore ensure that someone is available to accept the shipment at the addresss offered for delivery. In most circumstances, our carriers will leave a card and make a further call to deliver items if they cannot do so at first attempt. We do offer the option of delivery to an alternative delivery address at checkout; if this is more suitable or convenient to you - then please use it.
An additional delivery charge will be levied if the items are returned to us for repeat shipment or if a change of delivery address is requested once the items have been shipped.

Tax Charges
We are not VAT registered, so tax will not be applied to our charges. VAT is not due on importation to countries who are members of the European Union. However, all non-European Union customers should please note that you may have to pay tax and customs duties in the country of IMPORTATION. Mountain Images are not liable for these charges which remain the responsibility of the customer/importer. We will not refund in circumstances where customers do not accept delivery on the grounds that they refuse to pay import duties. Import duties vary widely from country to country. For specific information, please contact your local Customs Office.
Cancellation and Returns Policy
Our cancellation and returns policy conforms to the requirements set out in the Customer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Mountain Images' customers are perfectly entitled to cancel an order that they place with us before it has been shipped. However, as our prints are specially manufactured upon demand, cancellation of an order once it has been shipped and received by the customer is entirely at our discretion. We therefore request and strongly advise that our customers ensure that they are familiar with our product and product specifications before they place an order.
In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, cancellation must be made in writing and delivered within seven working days of the date of receipt of the goods. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs of returning any goods.
We will make a full refund of the cost of goods as soon as notification of cancellation has been received and the goods returned. Print surfaces are extremely delicate and may damage easily; please ensure that should you want to return a print, it is in perfect condition and free from fingermarks and creases.
Guarantee
Mountain Images guarantees 100% satisfaction. All of our products come with a 30 day no-quibble guarantee. If your order arrives in a damaged or unmerchantable condition, then please notify us immediately and we will replace it. Alternatively we will provide a full credit including postal charges to your credit card upon safe receipt of the returned goods. Any damages and shortages must be advised within 30 days of receipt of your order.
Please note that the Mountain Images' guarantee is additional to, and in no way affects, your statutory rights as a consumer.

Mountain Images do not disclose information about our customers to third parties.
Cookies are used on our shopping site only to speed up your shopping experience and keep track of the contents of your shopping basket once you have selected an item.
If you place an order with us then we collect from you the following information: Billing name and address, Shipping name and address, Shipping phone number, e-mail address and credit card information.
We only use these details to keep you up to date with the progress of your order and deliver your products. We of course adhere to the requirements of the UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998.
It is NOT our policy to bother you with details of offers and product news. The 'Remember Me' option of the foot of our shopping page is for your convenience only.

Disputes
Contracts formed between Mountain Images and its customers shall be governed in all respects by English law and all customers hereby submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
